UnityOne is the charitable entity of Wakeupnow. UnityOne owns forty-nine percent ownership of Wakeupnow. This was done to insure that one of the three governing principals of wakeupnow (“Look to the world around you and then make it a better place“) would be fulfilled. This very founding principal created the need for a charitable organization to realize Wakeupnow’s nobel vision. The UnityOne name was intended to convey Wakeupnow representative’s beliefs that all aspects of our lives are connected and the best way to find true happiness is to strengthen those connections within our own lives and within the lives of others.
UnityOne’s mission is to seek out opportunities to positively enhance the experience of life, by addressing the physical demands of living and provide individuals an ever increasing opportunity to help others from an enlightened view point.
Those involved with UnityOne have identified certain mission parameters that will serve as a guide. One of these is our dedication to the wise use of charitable resources. UnityOne Charity is committed to expend a minimum of ninety percent of all charitable funds to directly benefit those targeted within the cause by keeping administration costs at a bare minimum.
Currently UnityOne has identified a few programs that it will devote time and resources into. The list will continue to grown in depth and scope.
- Building homes for families in need through sponsorship with Habitat for Humanity
- Support Wakeupnow’s vision of debt elimination through application of assistance where needed
- The foundation of social service groups that can join together with those in need, both within their own ranks and within their own environmental boundaries
